The meeting theme is “Leading Innovation”Meeting Registration and hotel room reservation deadline date is March 4, 2014.

Beg, Brag, What If sessions will occur over Thursday and Friday with guest speakers mixed throughout.  A box lunch arrives by noon and we will eat during the newcomer debrief. The meeting will now extend to 2pm with everyone contributing their hand-written LearningsAfterwards, you can stay in the meeting room or find your own spot with others and continue to converse about your insights or seek answers to your questions. 

Hospitality Suite Nights
The Hospitality Suite is open on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the hotel for AMI attendees and their guests to come and go until 11:30 pm. Wine/beer and soft beverages are available while the AMI group gathers and shares ideas gleaned from their time together earlier in the day.

Registration

AMI Meeting participant rate is $875.00 US, which includes meeting rooms and support equipment, hospitality suite for two nights, Wednesday reception, lunches and breaks on Thursday and Friday, and travel expenses and honoraria for presenters, as well as other administrative expenses.

An offsite AMI Pre-meeting Workshop is being planned for Wednesday which will require a separate fee, approximately mid-morning through mid-afternoon, including travel time from Estancia La Jolla.

Reservations:

Sleeping Rooms are available at a discounted nightly rate for Single or Double Occupancy of $189.00 [plus 10.5% Occupancy Tax, 2% San Diego Tourism Marketing Assessment, and 0.065% CA Tourism Marketing Assessment, or applicable tax and $17.00 Hospitality Service Charge]. This rate is available three (3) days prior and three (3) days after group arrival and departure dates.

Center for Creative Leadership

The Center for Creative Leadership hosts each biannual Spring AMI meeting at their rotating campuses in Greensboro, Colorado Springs, and San Diego.

Meeting

  • AMI Board convenes (approximately 8am)
  • Equus Experience 3-hour workshop (depart 10:15am for Lunch & Noon start)
  • AMI Newcomers Orientation (approximately 4pm)
  • Meeting Reception/Introductions (approximately 6pm)

Thursday, April 3

  • The AMI meeting reconvenes at the Estancia at approximately 8am until close at 5pm.
  • Special Thursday evening optional events (some of these may have participation fees). One confirmed is a night photography class in the La Jolla cove conducted by community member David Culton.

Friday, April 4

  • The AMI meeting reconvenes at the Estancia at approximately 8am until close at 2pm.  You are welcomed to stay until 3:00 p.m.
