AMI member, Chris Ernst, is our meeting host while we are at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. We will be onsite at the foundation headquarters for the Wednesday opening reception and on Friday. Completed in 2011, the innovative campus was built in the heart of Seattle with a design that serves the staff and community and the best solutions were also the greenest. This campus demonstrates how large-scale sustainable architecture can be delivered at the highest level. The almost 640,000 SF building is the largest non-profit LEED-NC Platinum building in the world.

On Thursday, we will be hosted by Matt Calman, AMI Board Member, at the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, WA. Matt and his team have arranged for us to be in the Building 20 space which was recently remodeled to meet the needs of incoming designers, businesses, and developers to gather for workshops, hackathons or just work space. Check out this video of the space.
