The Generator is Babson College’s interdisciplinary AI lab dedicated to empowering innovators in business, technology, design, ethics, social impact and more. We support the Babson Community and beyond to bring visionary ideas to life by understanding and leveraging the power of AI.

In this session, AMI participants will experience core, hands-on elements of The Generator’s AI Innovators Bootcamp, an ongoing initiative to train 1,000 Small Business Owners in AI for business growth. The program represents a deep partnership between Babson’s faculty and Babson’s top AI-minds/students to support Small Business Owners to drive growth and transformation in the AI-age.

This experience begins with a hands-on AI literacy + empowerment workshop led by the Generator Student Leads in partnership with Babson faculty. Students then showcase real-world AI applications, demonstrating powerful use cases of the most cutting-edge AI tools in real time, addressing AMI members’ questions and interests in AI. The goal of this hands-on, highly interactive session is to raise baseline AI fluency across the AMI community, to highlight broader AI/innovation possibilities to discuss throughout the conference, and to demonstrate powerful, immediate AI applications that participants can implement within the same day, while having fun of course. : )

Boston Innovation Trail
Friday April 24, 2026

Post Gathering Expereince (Signup Required. Space Limited), additional $50 per person

Our tour will depart from the Hotel Marlowe at 1:30 PM and return by 4:30PM. This is a walking tour so please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

After days of curiosity, learning, and reimagining with AI, we’re closing our gathering by stepping into Boston’s innovation story. Join co-founders Dr. Robert Krim and Scott Kirsner for a private walking tour through Cambridge & Boston, exploring four centuries of world-changing breakthroughs in science, medicine, entrepreneurship, and technology that happened right here.

We’ll walk through the stories of diverse pioneers and collaborators who transformed bold ideas into reality, and see firsthand how this region became a global hub of innovation through collaboration, access to education, and societal changes that opened doors for more voices and perspectives.

This is the perfect capstone to our gathering. We’ll step outside, stretch our legs, and literally walk in the footsteps of innovators who came before us, while carrying forward the energy and ideas we’ve generated together.
