AMI is an innovation learning community that has been gathering for over 40 years. Born out of the Center for Creative Leadership, we’re a multigenerational community that spans industries and sectors, brought together by a shared focus on creativity and innovation.

Whether you lead innovation inside an organization, teach it, fund it, or are building something new yourself, this is a space for authentic connection, deep conversations, and learning alongside each other. Members tell us they’ve found friends, thought partners, and a rare community where curiosity and practice matter more than having all the answers.

You’ll be part of a values-driven network that connects:

• Once annually in the spring for our in-person gathering

• Three times a year for virtual learning exchanges

• Through smaller, informal circles like book club

• Asynchronously through our private LinkedIn group between gatherings

• Through 1:1 connections with members when you need a thought partner or friend

The magic is within the personal, raw inspiration the community provides. Most AMI members share that their learning comes from mind-mapping broader systemic issues down to more discrete organizational issues. In conjunction, the community shares immediate connections, reflections, and hypotheses with the wider community. We hear that this approach to innovation, via our own innovative challenges, looks and feels different from the average association. In short, our organization thrives on the sharing, vulnerability, and empathy that its members provide.
